It's Time! Dom Con 2026 is Coming to Los Angeles

For those who love the dynamic of Dominance and submission — whether you crave the harsh command of a Mistress or love the feel of a crop coming down on a loyal submissive’s buttocks — there is nothing quite like attending Dom Con. It’s one of the few events that allows professionals and lifestyle afficionados to come together and celebrate their desires together.

This year’s Los Angeles DomCon is just around the corner: May 27 to May 31 at the LAX Hilton. As you can imagine, we’re waiting with bated breath.

A Brief History of DomCon

DomCon is often misunderstood as an event for professional Dominants; sometimes it’s even described as strictly for professional female Dominants. But none of that is true, and in fact, it misses the entire point of what makes DomCon a unique event that has thrived for 22 years.

DomCon founder Mistress Cyan was initially driven to create the event when she was evicted from an online community not because of rudeness, or unethical behavior, or even poor style choices: The moderator evicted her specifically because she was a professional Domme. The group, she was told, was for those who were in it as part of their lifestyle. Mistress Cyan had been doing Domination in her personal life long before she started doing it professionally, and served with a number of community organizations, but none of that mattered.

That seed was planted in 2001. Cyan worked on the ideas and logistics to make DomCon serve as a bridge between different elements of the community, the first Los Angeles DomCon was held at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in November, 2004.

Since then, DomCon has become not only Los Angeles’s largest annual BDSM event, but there’s also an annual event in New Orleans, Los Angles. Sometimes it might seem like it’s harder and harder just to find spaces where we can celebrate our weird, kinky desires and the communities that we’ve built around them. But DomCon continues to not only survive, but thrive, which is a spot of brightness for the community at large.

DomCon 2026: What’s Happening

This year’s DomCon has an impressive range of presenters, panels, artists, and educators. Guests of Honor include fetish model Angela Ryan, Goddess Aroya Lessons, Hudsy Hawn (herself a Stockroom alumnus), julia, Switch Natalie of Legacy BDSM Studios, Master Sable, and Mistress Tiffany.

DomCon will be presenting the first ever Community Choice Awards, with voting that’s open to non-attendees in categories to reward the best photographer, model, rigger, vendor, business, mentor, educator, and podcast of the year. Unfortunately, online voting has already closed, but we just so happen to be up for both Business of the Year and Vendor of the Year, so we have our collective fingers crossed here in the office.

You can get a full look at the panels and workshops on the official DomCon site, but we think you’ll find the breadth of topics covered truly amazing. In addition to the usual workshops on basic shibari and flogging skills, there will be panels on taxes for professional dominants (because the IRS is the ultimate Mean Daddy Dom who doesn’t believe in safe words), the neurology of kink, urethral sounding play (electrified and otherwise), and how to deal with law enforcement if they show up mid-scene.

One of the first things that you learn after you make it through the initial euphoria of discovering kink is that there really is no single right way to do anything, and the assortment of classes that DomCon has assembled demonstrates that aptly. You can choose from multiple approaches to most of the subjects they’re presenting.

The Stockroom At DomCon Los Angeles

After all this, you might be wondering what we’re up to this year. While the Stockroom won’t be bringing our wares out and setting up a booth, we will be helping out with a raffle basket and 80 gift bags stacked high with goodies. The list of stuff going into the gift bags hasn’t been finalized yet, but they’ll include some of our most delightfully wicked trinkets.

The charity raffle basket will include:

A shirtless man in black latex pants is bent over a wooden table, with a bald woman in a black latex dress standing next to him. She is using the Kinklab Agent Noir™ Neon Wand Electrosex Kit on his back. The case is open on the table in front of the man.

From the looks of it, Mistress Cyan and company may have surpassed even their high standards this year, so we’re really looking forward to attending. We hope that we’ll see lots of you there.
