Love and BDSM Relationships: Navigating the landscape and the land mines!

Love is magic when it goes well but can become hell when the land mines blow. This workshop deals with the realities of love and BDSM and the difference between our fantasy life and our everyday life.
We will be discussing the good, the bad, and the worst of our relationships. We’ll share the journey we traveled: from falling in love, getting bogged down in conflict, and emerging to a relationship that incorporates it all: Love, Sex, S&M, and Service. The relationship skills we had to learn along the way were not easy, but are so worth it!

About the Facilitator:

Shelly entered the scene through the women's leather community roughly 17 years ago and has been active in all factions of the community since. Shelly currently sits on the board of the SoCal Leather Woman Contest, produces an event called Xposed and helps with DESIRE Leather Woman. When time permits she participates in human sexuality classes/panels for local colleges. For the last 12 years she has taught classes on a variety of topics in the BDSM community.

Dr. Peter has been involved in the BDSM community for over 30 years. As a certified Psychologist, he has taught workshops on the topic of the Psychology of BDSM for the community and a variety of professional organizations.
